How do I process a claim as an owner?

Any claim from a potential owner must be assessed whether it concerns the owner or not. When communicating with potential owners who submitted a claim, you have the option to respond using one of three categories: "Owner", "No match" and "Ask question".

When a claim of a potential owner turns out to be correct, you can assign the owner by clicking the ''Owner'' button. A standard message will be filled in automatically, which can be adjusted if needed. By clicking the blue ''It's a match'' button, the person will be notified by email.


The owner will receive a confirmation email with instructions how to get the item back. Via this email the owner can schedule a pick-up appointment or book a shipment (if this option is activated for your organization). After the owner has indicated how to get the item back, the item will be visible under ''Prepare pickup''.
